Marketing
Exhibitions are important part of marketing and can be an efficient marketing tool in export markets. The decision to participate in an exhibition should compliment the overall corporate marketing plan. The company planning and strategy are integral to the exhibition process and should be in place and planned – otherwise the exhibition process will be less successful.
In a show you may want to gather leads, meet the media, introduce new products, find representatives or conduct market research. When entering new markets, it is particularly important, that you have you done your homework and your products or services are ready for this market.
A picture says a thousand words. As humans we are strongly influenced by visual messages much more so than by text. We also retain images much longer than words. First impressions are critical, are difficult to change and have a long-lasting influence. Unless you create the right impression with the stand and at the stand, it may take a long time to recover. Visitors make subjective decisions about your company by the way you present the company. If it looks cheap, they will consider the company cheaply. Be sure you have the budget to present your company’s image professionally. The stand is the “shop front” of your company.
